Paul Kelly advises labor organizations, Taft Hartley Funds and individual workers. He is an accomplished trial lawyer, labor lawyer and Fund lawyer. Paul represents his clients in state and federal courts before Judges and juries and in private dispute resolution hearings before neutral Arbitrators. He advises clients on questions concerning pensions and other fringe benefits, labor management relations, internal Union and Fund governance, fiduciary obligations and the array of labor statutes including the National Labor Relations Act, the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

In 2010 Paul became a member of the Labor Guild Executive Board. He has been teaching Labor Law at the Guild since 1984. He has been a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Suffolk Law School since 1998 where he teaches Massachusetts Practice to law students. He received the Cushing Gavin Award as an outstanding Union attorney in 1996. Paul has also been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in labor and employment from 2007-2017.

A partner at the firm, Paul joined Segal Roitman, LLP in 1977. Before joining the Firm he taught Legal Practical Skills at Suffolk Law School in 1975 and he served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Andrew Caffrey at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1976.

Paul lives in Winchester with his wife Kathleen Bodie. They have three children, Mara, Brian and Jenna and two granddaughters, Emma and Mia. Paul is an elected member of the Winchester Town Meeting. He is a member of the Jack Wiseman Book Club and generally reads at least one book per month. Paul plays golf and tennis in his spare time and tries to stay fit by exercising regularly and by avoiding life’s rich temptations.
